Overview

What Is TCF Canada?

TCF Canada (Test de Connaissance du Français) is a French language proficiency test developed by France Éducation International and approved by IRCC for all Canadian immigration streams. It is one of only two French tests accepted for Express Entry, Quebec immigration, and Provincial Nominee Programs.

Compared to TEF Canada, TCF Canada is shorter and has fewer questions per section — making it a popular choice for candidates who want a more compact exam format without sacrificing CLB score quality.
